Max and Leroy hunt for a killer in this week’s episode of “Ghosted.”

According to the synopsis for Season 1, episode 3 of the Fox series, Bureau Underground sends Max (Adam Scott) and Leroy (Craig Robinson) to a resort in Tampa, Florida to search for the culprit behind a string of murders.

In a sneak peek from the episode, Captain Lafrey (Ally Walker) tells the duo that the autopsy on the killer’s latest victim reveals that the man’s heart is missing even though there’s no incision in the body. When Leroy asks if the Bureau has any suspects for the murder, the captain reveals that they are looking at the resort’s resident photographer, Keith Jorgensen (Seth Morris).

“There’s a similar murder six years ago at a resort in Hawaii,” Lafrey notes. “Keith Jorgensen was also living there at the time, but he’s working as a surgeon.”

To find out if Keith is the one responsible for the murders, Max and Leroy check into the Tampa resort and book a photography session with Keith.

In another sneak peek, Max and Leroy disguise themselves as Mitch Bachelor and Tedo, respectively, and tell Keith that they book their services for a bachelor party photo shoot. Apparently, their cover story isn’t well thought of as bachelor parties usually involves 12 dudes or more.

“Is the rest of the group coming?” Keith asks.

“No, [it’s] just us, me and Tedo,” Max replies, leaving Keith puzzled.

Meanwhile, while on their mission at the resort, Leroy — with the encouragement of Max — romantically pursues a female cop named Natalie (Megalyn Echikunwoke).

“Leroy, you know what? Since my lady is coming back. We should find someone from you,” Max tells Leroy in another sneak peek. While Leroy is not interested, Max quickly roams his eyes around the resort’s lobby looking for a girl he thinks would be perfect for his partner.

Elsewhere in the episode, Lafrey has Annie (Amber Stevens West) and Barry (Adeel Akhtar) investigate her daughter (Lauren Lindsey Donzis), who may be sneaking behind her back with a boy.
