ABC’s decision to have model Gigi Hadid co-host the 2016 American Music Awards isn’t sitting too well with some viewers. Shortly after Sunday night’s show kicked off at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, Hadid’s name began trending on Twitter’s U.S. list, a noticeable amount of viewers slamming her hosting skills alongside comedian Jay Pharoah.

Hadid and Pharoah opened the ceremony by telling audiences that would not be discussing the recent election. Shortly after, however, Hadid after did an impression of President-elect Donald Trump’s wife Melania Trump and Pharoah followed up with his own impression of the future POTUS.

Several tweeters responded by posting that watching Hadid onstage was giving them “secondhand embarrassment,” while other questions who decided to hire the 21-year-old.
