Tom Brady didn't get much help from his wide receivers in the Super Bowl on Sunday, as the Patriots' receivers had numerous dropped balls en route to their 21-17 loss to the Giants.

Brady was gracious in defeat, choosing not to lay blame on his supporting cast.

His wife was less forgiving.

After the game, Gisele Bundchen was caught on tape cursing about the performance of the quarterback's supporting cast.

My husband cannot (expletive) throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time. I can't believe they dropped the ball so many times, she yelled.

Bundchen defended Brady after a fan yelled at her while she waited for an elevator at Lucas Oil Stadium.

The fan had screamed, Eli owns your husband!

Gisele did her best to console Brady as the two were seen hugging on their way out of the stadium.

The biggest miscue of the game came from Wes Welker. The Pro Bowl receiver dropped a wide-open pass with four minutes remaining which could have put the Giants away.

Welker took the brunt of the blame in the post-game press conference.

That's a play I make a thousand times. I just didn't make it, Welker said. It's a play I never drop. Most critical situation, and I let the team down,

Brady finished the game with 27 completions on 41 passes for 276 yards. The number are respectable, but not enough to carry the Patriots to victory.

Bundchen made headlines last week after a leaked email she wrote asked friends to pray for Brady heading into the big game.

Maybe she should've asked them to pray for his wide receivers.
