The Toronto Raptors are slated to play the Golden State Warriors on Friday, January 27 at the Chase Center in a battle of two teams looking for another win.

For Toronto, it is also a chance for them to even things up after losing in their first encounter in December, 126-110.

But that may be easier said than done for Toronto against the host team as the Dubs are coming off a close 122-120 win over the Memphis Grizzlies and holding home-court advantage may tilt the tide in their favor.

In that last win, Jordan Poole lifted the Warriors over the Grizzlies after converting on a layup with about a second remaining.

"He knows he can't make that mistake," coach Steve Kerr said. "To win the game after the Steph ejection was great. I liked the execution down the stretch."

Poole finished with 21 points, seven assists, and five rebounds, while Stephen Curry led the way for the Warriors before he was ejected for throwing his mouthpiece in the stands out of frustration with 34 points and three assists.

The Warriors are scoring 117.7 points per game and also own an offensive rating of 113.

Moreover, Golden State is limiting opponents to 118 points per game and holds a defensive rating of 113.4.

On the other hand, the Raptors will try to get their third win in a row while on the road.

Against the Sacramento Kings, Pascal Siakam amassed with 26 points, 11 rebounds, and seven assists.

Precious Achiuwa backed him up coming off the bench with 19 points, while Fred VanVleet added 17 markers and five dimes.

"We looked good and felt good," VanFleet stated. "We were locked in. We have had our struggles this year."

Toronto is scoring 112.6 points per contest and likewise had an offensive rating of 114.

The Raptors are also allowing opposing teams 112.1 points per game with a defensive rating of 113.4.

The Warriors are -5.5 favorites to prevail over the Raptors, who are at +5.5.

In addition, the moneyline for this matchup is -215 for Golden State and +178 for Toronto.
