There is no difference between Caffeine search engine infrastructure and the ongoing live Google Search engine when it comes to User Interface although there are some changes in the search results.

A large team of Googlers has been working on a secret project: a next-generation architecture for Google's web search. It's the first step in a process that will let us push the envelope on size, indexing speed, accuracy, comprehensiveness and other dimensions, Sitaram Iyer, Staff Software Engineer, and Matt Cutts, Principal Engineer of Google wrote in a BlogSpot.

Google focus more on the infrastructure of the search engine and rewrite the parts that don’t scale well to make them more robust, more elegant, or faster.

This update is primarily under the hood: we’re rewriting the foundation of some of our infrastructure, Cutts wrote on a different post.

For now, Caffeine is not available for international version of Google Search Engine neither a Mobile version because the unveiling of the Caffeine is just a preview for now
