Chris Chalk plays Lucius Fox in “Gotham” Season 3. Fox

Everybody from “Gotham” has a wishlist of their own when it comes to villains they’d like to see appear on the show.

Ben McKenzie, who plays Jim Gordon in the Fox show, already had his villain checked out after the Mad Hatter, also known as Jervis Tetch, made his appearance this Season 3. McKenzie told the Business Standard that the villain is a “personal favorite” of his from the comic books.

As for Chris Chalk, who plays science expert Lucius Fox, he would like to see “Suicide Squad” star Deadshot appear on the show.

“I think Deadshot would be the most interesting one,” he told Comic Book.

It would be interesting to see a young Deadshot interact with Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) in school. “They both have similar socioeconomic situations, and they just went two different directions,” Chalk said. “I think it could be really interesting.”

As far as villains are concerned, executive producer Ken Woodruff said that Season 3 will not be left wanting. The Joker, who was played by Cameron Monaghan in Season 2, was killed off before he could start causing major damage in Gotham City. Interestingly, Woodruff said the character will somehow find his way back.

“We are absolutely planning in Season 3 - but primarily in the mid to second half of Season 3 - to delve back into the mythology of the Joker, and characters that may or may not be the Joker - but more likely characters that are an amalgamation of what we'll come to know as the Joker,” Woodruff told TV Guide.

As for the Joker’s love interest Harley Quinn, her reappearance will also come as a surprise. “You may have already seen Harley as a person that you thought you had met and known for a long time. So we always reserve the right to sort of do that as well,” Woodruff told IGN.

“Gotham” airs every Monday at 8 p.m. ET on Fox.
