The Grammy Awards are just about to commence and while we wait with baited breath as the winners are announced, the hottest starts have already emerged on the red carpet.
The hottest acts and artists strutted their stuff Sunday at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, Calif., for the 56th annual Grammy Awards, honoring the best in music for the year.
But the Grammy Awards is just as much about fashion as it is about music, since the red-carpet arrivals makes a show of its own. The event is regarded as one of the most stylish nights of the year in Hollywood, sandwiched between the Golden Globes and the Oscars.
However, the dress code for the Grammys is much more relaxed in comparison to, say, the Academy Awards, meaning there are no limits as to what the stars will wear—or won’t wear, for that matter.
What did this year bring to the 2014 Grammy red carpet? Here’s a quick recap of who wore who, which we'll be updating live as the stars arrive.
And we'll leave our opinions out of it for now. Check back tomorrow for our best- and worst-dressed picks on the red carpet, because judging by some of these photos, we'll need to sleep on it.
[UPDATE: 1/27/2014, 10:40 a.m. EST: The results are in! See who made our best dressed list and those who missed the mark here.]
