Didi Conn has officially passed down the Easter egg-colored torch. Sunday night, the “Grease” alum starred in Fox’s “Grease: Live” alongside Carly Rae Jepsen, who took on Conn’s ionic role as Frenchy, the sweet and friendly Pink Lady.

The two were even able to share a sweet moment onstage together during a scene adapted from the original 1978 film musical. After Rizzo (Vanessa Hudgens) splashes her strawberry milkshake in Kenickie’s (Carlos PenaVega) face, Frenchy is left behind to clean up the mess along with the diner’s waitress, Vi, the character Conn portrayed in the Fox special. It was originally played by Joan Blondell in the movie.

“There’s no use crying over a spilled milkshake,” Vi tells Frenchy as the Pink Lady unwraps her head scarf, exposing her bright pink locks.

“I hate to tell you this, but ... your hair looks like an Easter egg,” Vi says moments before a trio of angels attempt to convince Frenchy to go back to high school.

But that wasn’t the only special moment Jepsen, 30, and Conn, 64, shared together. The “Warm Blood” singer revealed on Instagram that the actress had given her a very special gift before the cameras began rolling. “Dear sweet #didiconn,” Jepsen’s photo caption read, “I can’t thank you enough for your generous spirit and talent.”

According to Jepsen, Conn gave her a heart-shaped locket with the words, “We’ll always be together” — a line from the production’s song, “We Go Together.” Conn also gave the Canadian singer the shirt she wore in the original film along with a sweet note.

“Darling baby, you are so gorgeous, so talented,” the note read. “I adore you. Thank you angel puss for opening your heart to me and for the joy of seeing your exquisite interpretation of Miss Frenchy!”
