Things are getting seriously steamy on Season 12 of “Grey’s Anatomy” – and we couldn’t be happier! During episode 3 of the hit ABC series, created by Shonda Rhimes, fans watched as Maggie (Kelly McCreary) locked lips with Grey Sloan’s hot new intern Andrew (Giacomo Gianniotti).

The two were both drowning their sorrows at a local bar, which is when the single surgeon took the initiative – after a few shots – and kissed the newbie. But their late night rendezvous didn’t end at the tavern! Andrew ended up going back to Maggie’s place – which also happens to be the place of residence for Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) and Meredith (Ellen Pompeo).

In a sneak-peek video for episode 4, titled “Old Time Rock 'N Roll,” viewers can watch as Maggie’s sisters tease her about her noisy night with the scrub-sporting hunk.

“Wait, that was you making all that noise last night? I thought that was Amelia!” Meredith says to Maggie after Amelia blows up Mag’s spot by asking if she used protection. “Well, you aren’t shy. And you have a filthy mouth!” Meredith continues.

Maggie, clearly mortified, begs her sisters to stop. But Amelia just can’t help herself.

“So the intern was good in bed?” Derek’s (Patrick Dempsey) sister says, teasing the identity of Maggie's one night stand.

“Intern? Maggie, what intern?” Mer asks. But before Maggie can even answer, Amelia begins another rant about “going down to lady town.”

Mer will become a vital resource for Maggie as she embarks on this sticky, new journey of love. After all, Meredith used to be the intern in this situation when Derek fell for her back in Season 1.

“Who does that? Who screws the intern?” Maggie asks in a trailer for episode 4.

“The father of my children,” Meredith quips back with a smile.

During an interview with People magazine, Jason George, who plays Dr. Ben Warren, promised viewers that the “sexy sexy” would be back for Season 12 of “Grey’s Anatomy.”

“There are a lot of people who are not in couples now and are falling into bed,” he dished to the outlet in August, adding that everyone would be “getting a little bit of loving.”

Guess it’s safe to say Shondaland’s romance rollercoaster isn’t slowing down anytime soon!

“Grey’s Anatomy” airs Thursday nights at 8 p.m. EDT on ABC.
