NBA superstar and dunk machine Blake Griffin filmed a cameo for "Sesame Street", and was challenged to a chicken calling contest.

Beloved character Abby summons the Los Angeles Clippers power forward and has him explain the word of the day, champion, and what it means to young viewers.

Griffin thinks he’s going to show everyone what a slam dunk champion looks like, but instead is challenged to a chicken cawing contest.

Somehow Griffin pulls it off in the video below.

This isn’t the first time Sesame Street has brought in a famous athlete, and for their upcoming 43rd season on PBS two other Los Angeles superstars will make appearances. Dodgers outfielder Matt Kemp and Galaxy midfielder David Beckham are also scheduled to appear this season.

Other notable NBA stars to take a walk down Sesame Street include Hall of Famers Julius Erving and David Robinson.
