Software publisher Grove Games has formed a new development studio, aiming to create original interactive software titles.

The Toronto-based company has previously released games developed by independent studios for the personal computer and Xbox platforms. The new move allows the company to generate its own titles, drawing talent from former employees of top software firms.

At Bedlam, we promote creativity and empower our employees to take daring new strides when designing games, said director of game development, Zandro Chan.

Former Electronic Arts, Ubisoft and Rockstar employees comprise Bedlam, who have developed leading titles such as Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Manhunt, The Warriors and Silent Hill.
