Celebrities also care for the future of America, so they went out to vote and supported their presidential candidate of choice.

Generally, people from the music and film industry preferred Hillary Clinton over Donald Trump. Many well-known figures posted photos of Clinton and used the hashtag #ImWithHer.

“Shake It Off” hitmaker Taylor Swift did not do so, and simply posted a photo of herself falling in line to cast a vote. “Today is the day. Go out and VOTE __,” she wrote.

Swift’s photo generated the most likes on Instagram that day with 2.1 million, according to Entertainment Weekly.

Coming in second is “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star Kourtney Kardashian, who posted a photo of her daughter Penelope Disick holding hands with her niece North West. “For our future, I'm with her,” she wrote. The photo earned 1.3 million likes.

Rihanna followed the list of most-liked Instagram photo with her cheeky post, “#VOTE bih.” In it, the singer took a selfie wearing a photo showing herself wearing a Clinton shirt. “I’m with her. And her,” the shirt reads.

Coming in at fourth is another singer - Demi Lovato - with 1.1 million likes. Lovato has followed Clinton’s campaign trail and posted a throwback photo of herself with Clinton on her side. “#ImWithHer __❤️_,” she wrote.

Ranking fifth is Arianna Grande, who decided to share a throwback photo of Clinton posing demurely by the beach. “She betta ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ Please make your voice heard today. It is crucial!!!!!! ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ #Her #Vote #VotedWeeksAgoInFlorida #QueenOfAbsenteeBallots #ItCountsDonaldISeeYouLurkin __☕️,” she captioned the photo, which generated 774 thousand likes.

Grande’s next post, which showed her mother talking to Clinton and shaking hands with her, actually received more attention with a million likes. “Mom n Hil #Her ♡,” she simply captioned it.
