Millions of viewers across the world are waiting eagerly today as the final minutes of countdown for the Royal Wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton draws nearer. After weeks of intense preparations and rehearsals, the day has finally arrived when Kate will complete her journey from a commoner to a woman who will one day be the Queen of England.

Thousands of people from places as far as Austria throng the streets of Central London to celebrate the occasion.

On Thursday, Kate arrived at the Goring Hotel in London along with her family where she was greeted by a crowd of fans waiting to see the future princess. Earlier, Miss Middleton completed a final rehearsal at the Westminster Abbey in order to ensure that her three-minute walk down the aisle is completed on time and in perfection.
