The last day of 2012 has arrived and most are happy to begin a new year tomorrow, celebrities included.

The stars have taken to Twitter to share “Happy New Year” tweets with their followers and friends on the mini blogosphere.

While some have shared news about new pregnancies, like Kim Kardashian, others have chosen to reflect on previous performances, like Justin Beiber’s tweet about singing “Let It Be” in Times Square for the 2012 ball drop ceremony in Manhattan.

He shared on Twitter “FLASHBACK to last year - http://youtu.be/T7SwehyOh3c - Im performing again 3 songs tonight on ABC. one is acoustic :) HAPPY NEW YEAR!” His post was retweeted 21414 times.

Kardashian vaguely wrote, “New year, new beginnings!” and was referring to expecting a child with her beau of several months Kanye West.

Taylor Swift commented on performing right before the ball drops in Times Square. She wrote, “So excited to be in New York playing on @OfficialNYRE! It all starts at 8pm ET on ABC. Can't. even. verbalize. how stoked I am for 2013!”

Even Lindsay Lohan who is most likely facing jail time in 2013 is counting her blessings. The troubled redhead posted, “i feel very blessed to be able to spend time w/ my mom, family&very wonderful friends. Very grateful.. May only good things come this year.”

Christina Perri, who’s had a fantastic 2012 with the success of her album, is happy to see the new year.

“dear friends, im unplugging for the next couple days. have a safe + epic new years, + ill see you in the "13.”

“Scrubs” star Zack Braff warned his followers to be careful during one of the most infamous party days of the year.

“Happy New Year! Don't drive drunk. I like you and don't want you to kill yourself or anyone else,” he said.

Jordan Sparks recounted the highlights of her year:

‏”X Factor” host Demi Lovato recalled, “So crazy to look back and reflect on how much has changed this last year... I wonder what will happen in 2013?!”

Ryan Seacrest, host of “New Year’s Rockin Eve” was said goodbye.

“Goodbye and good riddance to the last Monday of 2012,” he wrote.

Comedienne Ellen DeGeneres joked, “Portia and I are ringing in the new year in Rio! We're not there, we're just celebrating in that time zone. We'll be in bed by 8:15.”
