While One Direction may have millions of fans around the world, that does not mean that everyone recognizes the popular young British men. Supermodel Naomi Campbell recently admitted she mistook Harry Styles for a model’s son while backstage at the London Olympics closing ceremony in 2012.

During an interview with Heat magazine, Campbell admitted, "Kate [Moss] introduced me to him at the Olympics. And I said to her, 'Whose son is he? Is he one of our model friends' kids that I just missed out on?' I didn't know who he was. Kate was like, 'Stop! No! You must know him.' "

The 43-year-old beauty may not be a “Directioner,” but the British band that was formed after being on the hit singing competition “The X Factor” in 2010 is certainly adored by a legion of fans. They just returned home from Tokyo Monday, following a worldwide sell-out tour. They completed their second headlining concert tour “Take Me Home,” which began in February, with more than 100 shows in Europe, North America, Australia and Asia.

“134 shows! And I wasn't bored for one show because we have the best fans on the planet, and we do all this for u,coz u gave all of this t us [sic],” fellow One Direction member Niall Horan, 20, wrote on Twitter, when the tour wrapped up.

They have little time to rest, though, as they are set to perform on the American Music Awards Nov. 24 in Los Angeles.
