Lebron scored the last 10 points for the Heat to beat the Celtics in game 5 to win the series 4-1. The final score was 97-87 Heat's victory over the celtics.

Two three-pointers from LeBron James in the final 2:10 of the fourth quarter sealed the deal for the Heat.

LeBron James scored 33 points for the Heat with 11-of-20 shooting. Dwyane Wade scored 34 points in the game, half of which came in the first 2 quarters.

Ray Allen led Celtics in scoring with 18 points, making 5 of 10 shots from the 3 point line. Kevin Garnett added 15 points and 11 rebounds whereas Paul Pierce and Delonte West added 12 and 10 points respectively.

The Celtics were even up by 10 in the first half and held a lead as big as seven in the fourth quarter but couldn't finish off the game.

It was a great win for both Lebron James (Cleveland Cavaliers Player in 2010) and Dwyane Wade over the Celtics since they both got eliminated by the Celtics in the playoffs last year.

LeBron James said after the game, Celtics are a great team. Like I said, I got the utmost respect for that team. They're the reason why all three of us came together, is because of what they did, that blueprint they had in '08 when they all came together. So it's a great team win and get ready for our next opponent.

It is the first time for the Heat to reach the Eastern Conference finals since their championship run in 2006 (which they won beating the Mavericks 4-2)

Miami will now face the winner of Chicago Bulls/Altanta Hawks series. (Bulls up 3-2 currently)
