Kristin Cavallari recently paid tribute to her brother, Michael Cavallari, on his second death anniversary.

On her Instagram account, “The Hills” star shared an adorable photo of herself with her brother from when they were still babies. In the black and white snap, Cavallari had a huge smile on her face while she and Michael sat on a floater. Michael, on the other hand, is sitting behind his sister. He had sunglasses on.

According to E! News, Michael passed away just weeks after Cavallari and her husband Jay Cutler’s third child, Saylor, was born. Last year, Cavallari credited the arrival of her baby girl for giving strength amid adversity.

While speaking with US Weekly, she said, “I still do find a lot of strength in my children, because of the timing of everything. You can’t just stay in bed and feel sorry for yourself. You gotta get up. You have other lives you have to take care of. You have to put food on the table and get them dressed and off to school and everything. So yeah, you can’t just feel sorry for yourself.”

Michael was found dead in Grand County, Utah, three days after he was reported missing. His car was found abandoned on a highway. Michael’s death was later on ruled as accidental due to hypothermia. He was 30.

In Cavallari’s lengthy caption, the reality TV star admitted that she still feels the pain of losing her brother. And since she and her family don’t know the exact date when Michael died, they will always remember it as “the Saturday after Thanksgiving.”

Cavallari said that she and her family are still struggling with Michael’s death, but she finds peace whenever she receives a “sign” from him. The “Laguna Hills” star concluded her caption by telling her brother how much she loves and misses him.

After paying tribute to her brother, Cavallari continued to live a normal life. She shared a photo of herself lounging on a sofa as part of the upcoming Cyber Monday sales. Cavallari founded and creatively directed the jewelry brand, Uncommon James, and they will have a 30 percent off earlier this week.
