The HTC One A9 is not going to be as costly as it was reported earlier. HTC USA is apparently starting a Holiday Deal where interested buyers can save up to 30 percent, upon ordering the new power-packed handset. However, there is a caveat to the deal.

As it turns out, every Tuesday, the Taiwanese tech giant will bring in the Holiday Deal. Using which, one can purchase the HTC One A9 for just $400. To top it off, the flagship HTC One M9 can also be purchased for as low as $455. However, if a customer orders the aforesaid devices on other days, the original prices apply.

GSM Arena, meanwhile, said that the Holiday Deal gives a discount on the “total price at the check out.” For instance, if a customer shells out $650 or more, he or she becomes eligible for 30 percent discount. In case, a buyer spends $400+, a 20 percent discount can be availed. Alternatively, a 15 percent discount will be honored if a buyer purchases products worth more than $200.

The original HTC One A9 price is $500 and upon availing the Holiday Deal, it becomes $400. The HTC One M9, on the other hand, is priced at $650. However, with the discount, the device can be purchased for just $455. To top it off, the camera-centric HTC Desire Eye will set the buyers back by just $368, with the discount.
