Three people have been killed and two others are injured after a shooting at an apartment complex in northwest Harris County in Houston.

According to ABC, the shooting was reported at 4:15 p.m. CT at an apartment in the 8200 block of Sunbury in the Copperfield area. When police arrived at the scene, they found two women and one man dead.

Two additional people, a woman and a man, have been transported via LifeFlight helicopter to the trauma center at Memorial Hermann - Texas Medical Center in Houston.

It’s not currently known what caused the shootings, which came 10 days after a shooting at a Cypress, Texas, house party that left two teenagers dead and 19 others injured. An 18-year-old man is charged in that incident.

As ABC reports, the man who survived the Wednesday shootings suffered gunshot wounds to his chest and face.
