HTC is prepping up its 2016 flagship smartphone to take on the recently announce Galaxy S7 and LG G5. The name of the flagship, the “HTC One M10”, has been confirmed through HTC’s online survey HTML code form.

The “HTC One M10” name for 2016 flagship of the Taiwanese has been confirmed unofficially, but it is not known whether the smartphone will be launched with this name or another one. The alleged HTC One M10 is codenamed as HTC Perfume.

In the past week, the Chialin Change who is the CFO of HTC had stated that the after observing the camera performance of the leading smartphones in market, the company will be delivering a highly compelling camera experience. He is most probably talking about the HTC One M10 as well as the high-end smartphones that company will release later this year.

The HTC One M9 came with 20.7-megapixel camera with f/2.2 aperture lens. However, its successor is expected to house a 12-megapixel UltraPixel camera that will feature a f/1.9 aperture lens. A leaked photo of the snap taken through the HTC One M10 camera has been revealed. A photo of a dirty keyboard snapped with the camera of HTC One M10 includes a lot of detail that includes letter markings and dirt between the buttons, GSM Arena reported.

It is a 9-megapixel snap that is shot in 16:9 format and has a resolution of 2250 x 4400 pixels. In 4:3 format, it can shoot 12-megapixel image with 3000 x 4000 pixels’ resolution. The LG G5 a 16-megapixel camera with f/1.8 aperture lens whereas the Galaxy S7 has a f/1.7 aperture lens for its 12-megapixel camera.

The real prowess of the HTC One M10’s camera will be revealed on the day its official announcement. Rumors suggest that the HTC One M10 will be unwrapped on April 11.
