The HTC One A9 (also known as the HTC Aero) is speculated to launch on Oct. 20. The handset has been spotted listed on the GFX Bench benchmarking site. It has revealed that the specifications of the handset and has confirmed that it will be arriving preinstalled with Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

According to Phone Arena, the GFX Bench report of the HTC One A9 has revealed that it will be an upper midrange smartphone. It will be featuring a 5-inch display that will be supporting full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.

The Snapdragon 615 SoC will be powering the handset with its 1.5 GHz octa-core processor and Adreno 405 graphics. The 16 GB storage variant of the HTC One A9 will be featuring 2 GB of RAM and the 32 GB model will be coming with 3 GB of RAM.

It will be housing a 13-megapixel camera on its rear panel whereas the front panel will be fitted with a 4-megapixel UltraPixel camera. The front-facing camera is the same rear camera that is found on the HTC One M7 and the HTC One M8.

It will be also featuring a microSD card and a fingerprint sensor embedded in the physical Home button. It will be equipped with a battery of 2,150 mAh capacity. A leaked photo of the dummy unit of the HTC One A9 suggests that it sports an iPhone-like appeal, NDTV reported.

The HTC One A9 will be coming with a metallic chassis. Its thickness will be of 7 mm. Like the iPhone, it sports two antenna lines on the rear panel.

According to the popular leakster, @OnLeaks, the One A9 has been found listed with a price tag of 599.09 euros on a French carrier’s website. It equates to around $690 according to current exchange rates. Even though it is an upper midrange device, it is priced expensively like a flagship smartphone.
