Smartphone maker HTC Corp <2498.TW> said on Thursday that its December sales of last year more than doubled to T$33.54 billion ($1.15 billion) from T$14.07 billion in the same month a year earlier.

The company did not elaborate in a statement to the Taiwan stock exchange.
