Can’t get enough of “Ink Master”? Then you’re in luck! Spike has made two big announcements ahead of the Season 6 premiere. The network has renewed the tattoo-based reality show for a seventh season and has picked up a spinoff series, titled “Ink Master: Redemption.”

Tattoo-lovers can get their fill of judges Dave Navarro, OIiver Peck and Chris Nunez when Season 6 premieres June 23 with a new twist, “Masters v. Apprentices.” However, Season 7 won’t follow in the fall. Instead, viewers will have to wait until spring 2016 to meet the brand new contestants who will go head-to-head to earn the title of “Ink Master” … and the hefty $100,000 prize.

But fortunately Spike has a solution for fans that might go through “Ink Master” withdrawal while waiting for the spring. The network will premiere “Ink Master: Redemption” in September. The new series, which will go into production this summer, will feature human canvases from past seasons who were “left unhappy with their tattoos.” It’s unclear if former contestants will also return as names of artists have yet to be released.

The renewal and spinoff pickup doesn’t come as much of a shock. Season 5 of “Ink Master,” which concluded in December 2014, was the highest-rated season among adults and women 18-49. The network produced two holiday specials following the finale – “Merry Ink” and “New Year’s Ink.”

“With Americans spending more than $1 billion annually on tattoos, ‘Ink Master’ has definitely hit a chord with viewers and has continued to grow as one of our most gender-balanced original series,” Chachi Senior, Spike’s Senior Vice President of Original Programming, said in a statement. “The show’s viewers are not only fans of the amazing artwork displayed, they are also invested in the human canvases and what happens when a client leaves unhappy with their tattoo. We have created ‘Ink Master: Redemption’ to help answer those questions.”

Fingers crossed that the pin up girl by Season 5 contestant LT and the acid cat tattoo by Season 4 contestant Roland make an appearance.
