Something old, something new, something borrowed, something … Booth! “Bachelorette” star Kaitlyn Bristowe found her prince charming on the Season 11 finale of the ABC reality show. The 30-year-old dance instructor from Vancouver followed her heart and chose Shawn Booth as the man to accept her final rose. Now the couple is engaged and their relationship is out in the open … and fans are ready for their wedding!

Kaitlyn and Shawn have been happily chatting about their plans, and the former “Bachelorette” even tried on wedding dresses with late night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel. However, the two have yet to set a date or hammer out the details – which is where celebrity party planner and Wedding Paper Divas Style Partner Mindy Weiss comes in. Weiss has planned numerous celebrity weddings – including “Bachelor” and “Bachelorette” alums Sean and Catherine Lowe, Trista and Ryan Sutter, and JP and Ashley Hebert. Although she’s not currently working with Kaitlyn, insiders close to the couple dished to Life & Style magazine (via Hollywood Life) that the reality star wants to have a “Mindy Weiss Wedding” … and Weiss was happy to share some predictions for Kaitlyn and Shawn’s big day with International Business Times!

As a fan of “The Bachelorette,” Weiss has followed Kaitlyn and Shawn’s journey from night one. So, just like viewers, Weiss knows that the two are far from traditional. The wedding planner dished that she wouldn’t be surprised if they decided to “change it up.”

Attire

“Even though Shawn looks like a very kind of conservatively tailored dressed man, I think she may go a little bohemian,” Weiss explained. “If you notice the rings she wears and the jewelry -- and me analyzing her style -- I think the wedding could tend to go a little more bohemian, not black tie.”

So, what does a “more bohemian” wedding look like? Wedding guests would be comfortable in “fun cocktail attire.” As for the bride, Weiss can picture Kaitlyn in a dress with a low cut back, naming designers like Inbal Dror and Claire Pettibone. But Weiss doesn’t see the bride wearing a floral crown. Although they’ve been a hot accessory recently, the wedding planner dished that floral crowns are on their way out.

“I think she’ll be a little more sophisticated than the crowns,” Weiss dished. “She’ll go more into the vintage lace bohemian as opposed to the flower girl bohemian.”

Shawn on the other hand will be the real wild card. “I think he won’t listen to the attire,” Weiss laughed. “I feel like he’s a man of his own. He knows what he wants. I see him in a Tom Ford, very tailored, tight fitting, show off his body kind of suit. Maybe no tie, but a very fitted, good looking suit.”

The Bridal Party

Of course there is more to a wedding than a gorgeous gown and sharp looking suit. Kaitlyn and Shawn have to pick a bridal party. Based on what Mindy Weiss has seen on “The Bachelorette,” she can see the pair having a larger bridal party – a trend that is resurfacing.

“Family is extremely important to them,” she explained. “So we can be assured that family will be very involved in the wedding. But I see them with some friends, five on each side. Not too big, but definitely making a statement with the wedding party.”

Location

Kaitlyn has said in interviews that she wouldn’t mind a wedding in Vancouver or Las Vegas. With Shawn’s family hailing from Connecticut, and Kaitlyn’s family based out of Canada, Weiss thinks that Los Angeles would make a great destination wedding for both families to meet.

“That’s where their love started,” she explained. “When we’re trying to personalize weddings we like to tell the story.”

On top of that you can’t beat the weather in Los Angeles. “The weather is more predictable,” Weiss joked.
