Apple calls its iPhone 4S the most amazing iPhone yet. Many were hoping for an iPhone 5 Tuesday, but got an updated iPhone 4 with many of the features that were being anticipated for the iPhone 5.

Though there may be some disappointmnet, the iPhone 4S seems as if it is worth the purchase. Here are the reasons you should consider updating to the iPhone 4S.

Siri: It's like having your own personal assistant built into the phone. You use your voice to send messages, schedule meetings, make phone calls and more just by addressing Siri as you would talk a live person. Siri understands just fine what you say, and knows exactly what you mean. Siri is like a friend who listens and actually gives a response.

Apple's A5 chip: This is the same dual-core chip that powers the iPad 2. The iPhone 4S will be much faster at Web browsing, downloading and better graphics for gaming. Go ahead and be a kid and play all you want, as the iPhone 4S battery can handle up to eight hours of talk time, or 14 hours of 2G talk time, and six hours of 3G browsing, or nine hours of WiFi browsing, according to Apple.

The camera: Every photo taken on the iPhone 4S will be shot with 8-megapixel resolution and a custom lens with a larger f/2.4 aperture. There is also an improved backside illumination sensor, auto white balance, advanced color accuracy, face detection, and reduced motion blur.
