On March 7, Apple unveiled its third generation iPad, which has been simply named new iPad. It boasts of remarkable features like Retina display (which is going to be one of the top reasons to grab the new iPad), and packs 4G LTE technology, which will enable faster streaming and downloads.

However, the most exciting thing about the debut of the new Apple tablet is that it throws light on the next iPhone's features. Check out the most anticipated features of iPhone 5, which is expected to debut either in June/July or around Fall, in detail.

[1] 4G LTE

The new iPad is Apple's first device to sport 4G LTE connectivity. The tech giant is now expected to bring the upgraded feature to its other iDevices. According to DigiTimes, the upcoming iPhone will be launched in the second half of 2012. And, it is expected to include the 4G LTE feature too.

[2] Better display

The new iPad packs the Retina display with the high resolution of 2048x1536 pixels. On the other hand, the iPhone 4S boasts of a Retina display with a resolution of 960x640 pixels at 326 pixels per inch. Apple fans can expect now expect a higher resolution display in the iPhone 5. According to the recent reports, the iPhone 5 will feature a 4-inch edge-to-edge screen with 1280x720 pixels resolution.

[3] A5 Chip

The new iPad debuted with the A5X chipset and a PowerVR SGX543MP4 GPU. It means though the processor remains dual-core, the graphics is quad-core. However, A5X is not a suitable chip for the smartphones. Hence, it is unlikely to be used in the iPhone 5.

According to the latest rumors, the iPhone 5 is expected to include the A5 chipset on the power-efficient 28 nanometer manufacturing process.

[4] Better Battery life

The tech giant is expected to enhance the battery life of the iPhone 5, rather than the graphics. If the iPhone 5 supports 4G LTE connectivity, the battery performance should be improved for sure.

[5] iOS 6

Apple unveiled the iOS 5.1 during March 7's media event. All iDevices can now upgrade to iOS 5.1. The tech giant has always released innovative software upgrades with its new product launches. Hence, it is expected that the iPhone 5 will debut with iOS 6.

[6] Enhanced Camera

According to the recent reports, Apple fans are expecting the iPhone 5 to pack an incredible camera of 13-megapixel and CMOS sensor. The iPhone 4S has 8-megapixel rear-facing camera and a Full HD video recording feature. The iPhone 5, with a 13-megapixel rear camera, would definitely attract more smartphone users and land a big blow on its competitors.

[7] Face Recognition

The iPhone 5 is likely to debut with the improved face recognition feature, which we have seen in the new iPad. It means the iPhone 5 will be able to recognize multiple faces at a time and highlight them, during shooting photos.

[8] Siri 2

Siri, the voice-controlled intelligent assistant exclusive to the iPhone 4S, has made the handset, the best selling iPhone ever. Nevertheless, it is far from being perfect. The iPhone 5 is expected to include the improved version - Siri 2.
