Iraq holds fourth post Saddam election
On Saturday Provincial elections take place in Iraq these are the fourth since the collapse of the Saddam Hussein's regime in 2003.
Here follows a list of the three prior elections:
- January 2005: Voters chose members of an interim parliament and ruling councils in the country's 18 provinces.
- October 2005: Voters approved a new constitution drafted by Parliament.
- December 2005: Voters selected members of a new parliament.
