Irish Life & Permanent expects profit drop of 7%
Denis Casey, chief executive of Irish Life & Permanent said on Friday that the company still expected its earnings to fall around seven per cent this year.
On 1 May the company said it believed full year operating earnings per share would be in line with analyst's expectations, suggesting a drop of 6.7 per cent.
According to Reuters, Casey was asked if this was still the current belief of the company, Casey answered in the affirmative.
