Domino defies gravity at dinnertime.

The Italian greyhound is so eager to have his evening meal that he jumps repeatedly to the height of his family’s kitchen counter as his owner prepares him a bowl of food.

A clip of Domino’s dinner routine on YouTube from 2011 is starting to go viral.

The 72-second video shows the black-and-white dog in what appears to be perpetual loop, using his hind legs to jump so high that his head surpasses the kitchen counter as his owner prepares his food.

“This is him jumping, because my mom was getting our dogs food ready for dinner,” YouTube user iScreamo39 wrote in the video description. “We did not train him to do this. When we first got him, he did this.”

Italian greyhounds weigh about 10 pounds and rarely bark or get sick, according to the Italian Greyhound Club of America. The breed dates back to more than 2,000 years ago and has been a favorite breed for a slew of royal families, including Catherine the Great of Russia and Queen Victoria.
