It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” Season 10 may not arrive until Jan. 2015, but the first trailer for the FXX comedy is here now, and it’s just as crazy as one would expect it to be.

The cinematic teaser is kind of like "Apollo 13" meets Burning Man as the Paddy’s Pub crew (Charlie Day, Glenn Howerton, Rob McElhenney, Kaitlin Olson and Danny DeVito) don their best mustard-yellow space suits and slow-motion walk past a cadre of adoring fans, and unsavory series regulars, into what they think is a rocket -- turns out it’s a cannon.

While the teaser is bizarre and fun for anyone, fans of the long-running show will notice regulars such as Cricket (David Hornsby), Maureen and Bill Ponderosa (Catherine Reitman and Lance Barber), The Waitress (Mary Elizabeth Ellis), Charlie and Mac’s mothers (Lynn Marie Stewart and Sandy Martin) and, of course, Green Man.

This will be “Sunny’s” second season since switching to FX’s comedy-centric sister channel, FXX, back in September of 2013. In April of 2014, Entertainment Weekly reported that FXX picked the series up for another two seasons. This means that “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” will become one of the longest-running live action comedies in TV history once it hits its 12th season.

While the latest trailer doesn’t give any real information as to what will happen in the upcoming season, it’s very indicative of the outlandish and fun comedy that the show has become known for in its decade-long run. Keep an eye out for the return of “It’s Always Sunny” in January 2015.
