“New season, new night, new channel … still hot,” boasts a new ad for “It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia.” The gang is coming back on Sept. 4 for their ninth season, and thanks to SpoilerTV we’ve got our hands on the descriptions for the first four episodes. So, grab your green man suit, throw on your latest cutoff sleeve T-shirt and pour yourself a beer (if you are over 21), because the laughs are about to start.
Episode 9.01 – “The Gang Broke Dee” – Airs Sept. 4 at 10 p.m. EDT
“Dee starts to embrace the desperate, self-loathing qualities the guys have beaten into her over the years, sending her stand-up comedy career to unexpected places.” Written by Charlie Day & Glenn Howerton & Rob McElhenney; directed by Richie Keen.
Episode 9.02 – “Gun Fever Too: Still Hot” – Airs Sept. 11 at 10 p.m.

Episode 9.03 – “The Gang Tries Desperately To Win An Award” – Airs Sept. 18 at 10 p.m.

Episode 9.04 – “Mac And Dennis Buy A Timeshare” – Airs Sept. 25 at 10 p.m.

FXX is a new basic cable entertainment channel that will be launching on Labor Day. Like its sister channel, FX, the new network will feature original series, movies and acquired series. FXX has brought some familiar shows along with it so that you’re more comfortable with the move. The channel will feature “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,” “The League,” “Legit,” and “Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell." A new animated comedy called “Chozen” will be launching on FXX in first quarter of 2014.
