“iZombie” is introducing an exclusive bar for the undead in Season 3.

Executive producer Rob Thomas revealed to Entertainment Weekly that someone will take advantage of the growing population of zombies in Seattle by opening a club where they can socialize with each other.

“The number of zombies in Seattle is going up at an alarming rate, and it’s high time someone capitalized on the undead’s desire to socialize with their own kind,” Thomas said before revealing the name of the new establishment.

“We originally named the establishment Coldcock’s, but apparently that’s the name of a brand of booze, so we settled on our second choice, The Scratching Post,” he said. “It’s a speakeasy where one needs to be able to eat a ghost pepper without flinching to be allowed in, but once inside, brains and hot sauces from around the world are available for the discriminating zombie.” Click here to see a concept art of the establishment.

The Scratching Post is strictly for zombies only, and in order to protect the identities of their clients, the tavern is underground. In addition, since Vivian (Andrea Savage) — CEO of Fillmore Graves Enterprises — revealed at the end of Season 2 that she plans to make Seattle the capital of the zombie homeland, the new pub could also be a place of congregation where the undead can plot world domination.

So will Liv drop by the new club? Probably — after all, McIver said at the show’s San Diego Comic-Con last month that her character is “conflicted” whether or not she will be supporting Vivian’s mission.

“[Vivian's plan is] a military operation. This is a bunch of zombies she didn't know about... It definitely has a sinister feel about it," McIver said (via TVLine). Good thing, Liv "has a whole lot of people to talk to about it to help make considered decisions.”

Thomas added that "a lot of season 3" is going to be about Liv figuring out whether she's Team Zombie or Team Humanity.

“iZombie” Season 3, which is only getting 13 episodes according to the Los Angeles Times, will debut at midseason on The CW.
