Jana Kramer has thanked her fans for their support a few days after news broke that she and husband Mike Caussin had separated.
“I just wanted to say thank you to my fans for all the love,” the 32-year-old country music artist wrote on Instagram on Saturday, Aug, 27, alongside a photo of herself carrying her 6-month-old daughter Jolie Rae.
“This has been an extremely hard time but Jolie has given me more strength than I ever thought possible,” she added. “Your continued support means the world too. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
A source confirmed Kramer and Caussin’s split to Entertainment Tonight on Aug. 24. The cause of the breakup was not revealed, but the source noted that football player Caussin is currently being treated in a rehabilitation center for undisclosed reasons.
A close friend of Kramer told the news outlet that she has been “devastated” by the split and has just been “trying to put on a brave face and do what's best for her daughter” as she continues to promote her second studio album, “Thirty One.”
Kramer and Caussin, 29, — who welcomed Jolie in Nashville last January — tied the knot in May of last year in a rustic outdoor ceremony in Charlottesville, Va.
"We feel extremely blessed to have found each other and are so fortunate to have shared our day with close friends and family," the two told Us Weekly in a statement at time of their wedding. "We look forward to sharing our lives together.”
Prior to Kramer’s relationship with Caussin, the “One Tree Hill” alum was engaged to fellow country music artist Brantley Gilbert. Gilbert popped the question to the songstress in January 2013, but they never made it down the aisle as they broke up August that year.
Kramer was married twice before. She was previously married to Michael Gambino, and then to actor Johnathon Schaech from 2010 to 2011.
