“Jane the Virgin” star Jaime Camil plays doting husband Rogelio De La Vega in The CW show, and in real life, the actor is just the same.

Camil has been happily married for four years to his wife, Mexican model Heidi Balvanera, and he is even more in love with her now than the time they got married.

“It happens that I’m in love with my wife. I like my wife very much and I think she’s super hot, the hottest girl in the world. So I think that’s it. I should not say anymore because then I’m going to go a little triple X here,” he jokingly told PEOPLE. “I love her and she is a wonderful woman, she is a brilliant mother. She is the foundation of the family. I’m very lucky to have found that.”

The two are now the proud parents of two children - six-year-old Elena and three-year-old Jaime. “My wife and I are super fans of parenting. We love being parents,” he shared, but he quickly added that “I forgot what sleeping means.”

Despite facing sleep deprivation, Camil said he is planning to have more babies in the immediate future. “I think two is the perfect number for us,” he said. “Heidi wants one more, but I’m happy with two.”

Right now, Camil is busy with “Jane the Virgin,” but during the show’s summer hiatus, the actor revealed he might do a movie or perform in Broadway.

His character, Rogelio, is busy being a new dad again this Season 4. In fact, he and his baby mama Darci Factor (Justina Mechado) even decided to name their daughter Baby Michaelina, which is a tribute to his daughter Jane’s late husband, Michael Cordero (Brett Dier).

For now, Rogelio and Darci are getting along well. Show creator Jennie Snyder Urman told Entertainment Weekly their relationship actually “has a lot of twists and turns and it’s one of the arcs that I’m most excited about.”

“Jane the Virgin” Season 4 airs every Friday on The CW at 9 p.m. EDT.
