Everybody is constantly talking about what a good guy “Jane the Virgin” star Justin Baldoni is. However, the actor would be the first to tell you that nothing could be further from the truth.

In fact, Baldoni recently showcased his “terrible” side when he pulled a prank on Yael Grobglas on the set of “Jane the Virgin” Season 3.

He posted a video of the prank on his Instagram. He said his “mission” was to scare Grobglas, and it worked because he got her to scream twice. After his successful “mission,” Baldoni can be seen laughing as he ran away from the scene of the prank.

Baldoni might call his actions “terrible,” but it seems like Grobglas took things in stride and wasn’t even mad at her co-star.

Baldoni is actually very respectful of women. He said he believes that real men empower women, and it’s something he learned after his daughter, Maiya, was born. “When my daughter was born, I got the chance to witness my wife become a superhero. Moments later I got to stare into the soul of the new love of my life … my daughter, Maiya,” he wrote in an op-ed piece for Zap2It. “I will never forget that experience — everything that I thought mattered in life suddenly became irrelevant and my whole world shifted. If I was at all interested in the advancement and empowerment of women before my little Maiya came into this world, I was going to turn it up to hyper-speed now.”

As for Baldoni’s character, Rafael Solano, he seems to have no clue how to handle women. He’s experienced an unlucky string of relationships, but things might be changing for the better now. Rafael recently rekindled his romance with former wife Petra, but there’s no telling where their relationship is headed.

“Jane the Virgin” Season 3 airs every Monday at 9 p.m. EST on The CW.
