Jennifer Grey of the ‘Dirty Dancing’ fame has proved that her success in the movie was not a fluke. She is the new winner of the Dancing with the Stars Mirrorball trophy in its 11th season.

All we wanted to do for the final was go out there and do our best and just make sure we knew we did our best and that's really what it's about, Derek told Access Hollywood's Shaun Robinson following Monday's show.

Bristol Palin was continuously panned by critics for her continuation in the show. She was consistently in the bottom two list but was carried through to the finals on the basis of her fans’ votes. In an interview to Shaun Robinson after her elimination she said that people should remember it is just a show and not get so emotional about it.

Jennifer Grey almost did not come back for her final performances on the last day as she had suffered an injury to the neck while performing the previous night. I didn't think I was going to compete tonight, she told Tom Bergeron the host of the show, fighting back the tears. I'm really glad I did!
