Jennifer Lawrence On ‘Great Terms’ With Ex-Boyfriend Nicholas Hoult; Are They Getting Back Together?

Jennifer Lawrence has been linked to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin since last summer, but has their on-again, off-again love affair finally cooled down? One report is alleging Lawrence has split from the father of two and is now reconnecting with her former flame, Nicholas Hoult.

According to Us Weekly, Lawrence has been spending quality time with Hoult recently following their 2014 split. The former couple are currently on location in filming the third installment to the “X-Men” film franchise, “X-Men: Apocalypse.”

“They’re on great terms now,” a source told the magazine of their relationship. “And their families have stayed close.”

While Lawrence, 24, and Hoult, 25, have not addressed the rumors, they appeared pretty chummy in a recent “Apocalypse” set photo. Last month, director Bryan Singer posted a image of himself posing with the two co-stars. In the shot, Hoult can be seen wrapping his arm around Lawrence as she sports an ear-to-ear grin. “Back with the #thekidsinthehall,” Singer captioned the picture.

While some “X-Men” fans may be pleased to learn Lawrence is still on good terms with her ex-boyfriend, the report may confuse some of the Oscar-winner’s supporters. In May, it was reported by People that Lawrence was still dating Martin, 38. TMZ also obtained photos of the pair leaving a party in Los Angeles on May 31. Of course, it is worth nothing that Martin was spotted getting pretty cozy with fellow singer Kylie Minogue in London on June 22.

According to Us Weekly, Lawrence’s romance with Martin fizzled out because “Jen has been working nonstop.” Other than “Apocalypse,” Lawrence has several films in the works, including a role in the sci-fi thriller “Passengers,” alongside Chris Pratt.

“They never saw each other,” a source said of Lawrence and Martin's relationship, adding that their romance had simply “ran its course.”

Lawrence and Hoult began dating in 2011. They broke up in February 2012, but reunited in June 2013 ahead of filming “X-Men: Days of Future Past.” They split for a second time in August 2014. Later that same month, Lawrence’s relationship with Martin was revealed. At the time, Martin was in the process of divorcing his wife of 10 years, actress Gwyneth Paltrow. Lawrence and Martin broke off their relationship two months later, only to reconnect in January.
