While Jennifer Lopez was staying at the Melia Dusseldorf hotel in Germany as part of her European tour, a maid was fired, allegedly after asking the megastar for an autograph.

The maid, Pray Dodaj, told German newspaper Bild, “I cleaned on her floor. And I am an incredibly big fan so I took all my courage and rang the bell to get an autograph. But I was rejected by two assistants at the door.A day later the cleaning company that employed me at the hotel called and said that Ms Lopez had complained.

I was fired right there on the phone. Because of an autograph.”

Jennifer Lopez was quick to deny that she was the reason Dodaj was removed from her postion. She wrote on twitter, “C’mon thought you knew me better than this..Would never get anyone fired over an autograph. 1stI heard of this was on twitter. #hurtful.”

The hotel manager, Cyrus Heydarian, however, says he was right in firing Dodaj for how she approached Lopez.

“She has acted contrary to the contractual arrangements and disturbed the privacy of our guests,” he said, according to the Daily Mail.

This is not the first time Lopez has been accused of having diva-antics. Back in 2010, British tabloid Mirror Online reported that Lopez in preparation of the World Music Awards, requested a helicopter "on stand-by", a custom-fitted speed boat with a champagne fridge, and a pair of $6,000 diamond-encrusted headphones.

She also wanted a masseuse, a hair and make-up team composed of 12 people, and her own hotel floor.
