Jennifer Lopez stunned in a show-stopping white jumpsuit at the “American Idol” semifinals Tuesday. She posed backstage in the cut-out lace creation before greeting the audience, Mirror UK reported. Her dazzling white ensemble was by Zuhair Murad.
From the Lebanese designer’s Fall 2014 collection, the jumpsuit features a high neck, long sleeves and sheer lace detailing. The keyhole design at the front showed off a hint of the 45-year-old singer’s cleavage. The crepe jumpsuit had tonal jewel encrusted details and center wrap front bodice.
The embellished outfit added an element of glamour to her look. When the jumpsuit was showcased on the runway, it had a looser fit and was modeled with a belt. Jennifer accessorized her look with sparkling earrings, rings and wore matching Versace shoes. Her makeup consisted of bronze blush, lots of eyeshadow, mascara and eyeliner. She finished off her makeup with some lipgloss and flashed her white manicure. Her long tresses were styled into a messy up do.
Murad is known for his intricately beaded creations. Several A-list stars -- including Eva Longoria and Scarlett Johansson -- have all turned to him for the red carpet. This year at the major award functions, Jennifer opted for the designer’s creations.
The singer and actress wore a Zuhair Murad jumpsuit at the 2015 Billboard Latin Music Awards, she opted for a lace cocktail dress for the premiere of her new film “Home.” For the 2015 Vanity Fair Oscar party also she wore a sheer number from the designer’s Spring 2015 Couture Collection. The “On the Floor” hitmaker chose a silver art deco inspired beaded sheer caftan with strong shoulders from the Autumn-Winter 2014-2015 Couture Collection at the 2015 Golden Globe Awards in January.
“American Idol” will end after Season 15, as Fox announced Monday. Jennifer will remain a judge for the show's final season. Lopez also officially announced her 2016 Las Vegas Residency on the show, after months of speculation. Her show will kick off Jan. 20 at the Axis Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino and continue until June 2016. Ticket sales will begin Saturday. She told People that her show will include Latin, pop and hip-hop music.
