Kentucky star basketball player Terrence Jones has been feeling regretful of the accident where he ran over a Louisville cheerleader named Jerica Logue during the game against Louisville, injuring her in a spectacle caught on video.

Tell her I'm sorry, Jones, 6'9, 252 pounds, said after the game and the accident where he was trying to catch a loose ball. I'll drive down there and tell her myself with some flowers or something.
And Jones kept his promise.

On Monday night, Jones showed up at the Louisville Cheer and Dance to deliver a bouquet of flowers to Logue, who had to get stitches after the accident.

For her to get stitches during the game and it being my fault, I told her I would do it, Jones told Louisville TV station WHAS. I just had to keep to my word.

A shocked Logue didn't expect to see Jones.

I was surprised, Logue told WHAS. I think it's really nice of him. I know he said he was going to do it, but I didn't actually think he would.
