Jessica Biel in 'The Notebook?' [PHOTOS]

Jessica Biel recently confessed to Elle magazine that she had really, really wanted the role of Allie in The Notebook.

That's right, the 7th Heaven alum who has starred in several major and diverse films, including Valentine's Day, Stealth, and I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry wanted to play Allie Hamilton to Ryan Gosling's Noah Calhoun.

That's one that I wanted so badly, she told Elle magazine. I was in the middle of shooting 'Texas Chainsaw Massacre,' and I auditioned with Ryan Gosling in my trailer -- covered in blood.

She noted how actors lose out on desired roles all the time, saying there's a million that get away.
