Known for its aggressive fare sales, airliner jetBlue has launched another.

The latest promotion is for one-way fares for as low as $39. Tickets must be purchased by Jan. 5 (before 11:59 p.m. on Jan. 3), and a seven-day advance purchase is required.

Dubbed The Holiday Recovery Sale, jetBlue's fare sale involves destinations throughout the U.S. that it serves.

Sample trips for the lowest-priced one-way fares include Boston to Baltimore, $34; and Boston to Buffalo, Washington, D.C., Newark, Pittsburgh and Richmond for $39.

Other discounts in the two-day only sale include Phoenix to Boston for $99, and Los Angeles to Fort Lauder-dale, Fl. for $99.

Some restrictions apply to the sale. Sale fares are limited to Tuesdays and Wednesdays for travel between Jan. 10 and April 3 with blackout dates of Feb. 16-27 and between Jan. 10-Feb. 15 for routes to/from Florida; Austin, Texas; Phoenix; Puerto Rico; or any international city.
