On Friday's ESPN program Rome is Burning, Jimmer Fredette will sit down for an exclusive one-on-one interview.

The star guard will be interviewed by Jim Rome, one of the best interviewers in sports. The program airs at 4:30 Eastern Time on ESPN, and will be air after the first segment and first commercial break.

Fredette has the reputation for being a gracious and candid speaker, and Rome is known for asking well-thought out questions, meaning this should be better than a typical post-game interview you see in a locker room.

The Brigham Young sharpshooter is expected to be a lottery pick in the upcoming NBA Draft. There has been speculation that the Jazz will use the 12th pick on Fredette, as he played in nearby Provo.

Fredette is coming off a big senior season with the Cougars. He led the nation in scoring with a 28.5 points-per-game average, and shot better than 40 percent from beyond the three-point arc last season.

BYU advanced to the Sweet 16 last season for the first time since 1981.
