Even though she has no more plans to extend the highly successful “Harry Potter” novels, author J.K. Rowling is not yet through dishing out information about the wizarding world.

The most recent bombshell the author dropped on Pottermore was that Harry Potter, the famed boy who lived, is not the first Harry Potter in the wizarding world, according to Seventeen. In fact, his great grandfather also shared his name. This great grandfather was born Henry Potter, but his friends all called him Harry.

The two Harrys have a lot in common, since they are not afraid to stand up for the things they believe in. The late Harry actually made news after he publicly condemned the then Minister for Magic, Archer Evermonde, for forbidding the magical community to help Muggles during the First World War.

Due to his outspoken views in support of Muggles, or non-magical folk, the Potters were excluded from the Sacred Twenty-Eight — the 28 British families that were still “truly pure-blood” by the 1930s.

For now, Rowling is busy working on the sequel for the “Harry Potter” spin-off, “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.” The movie will feature a young Albus Dumbledore, who will be played by Jude Law. Law will be joined by Johnny Depp who plays his best friend-turned-nemesis Gellert Grindelwald in the 2018 movie, according to Entertainment Weekly.

According to the character description, in the movie, “Law will portray Dumbledore long before the iconic wizard became the Headmaster at Hogwarts, as he has been known in the Harry Potter books and movies. We meet him decades earlier when Dumbledore is still serving as the wizarding school’s Transfiguration professor. He is also a contemporary of Gellert Grindelwald, the charismatic dark wizard who believes wizards are superior to muggles and no-majs.”

Dumbledore’s sexuality will even be explored in the film, even though it wasn’t tackled in the “Harry Potter” books or movies. Rowling was questioned about it in an interview at Carnegie Hall. “Well, I’m very comfortable with the question,” Rowling responded, according to Variety. “I would like to say because this is obviously a five-part story, there’s lots to unpack in that relationship.”

“You will see Dumbledore as a younger man and quite a troubled man,” Rowling added. “We’ll see him at that formative period of his life. As far as his sexuality is concerned...watch this space.”

“Fantastic Beasts 2” will hit theaters Nov. 16, 2018.
