Joan Rivers has no problem making crude jokes about celebrities and was quite harsh when asked about Lindsay Lohan on Tuesday. The 27-year-old actress revealed on her documentary series “Lindsay” that she had a secret pregnancy and subsequent miscarriage.

During her OWN documentary series, there was a time period in which Lohan refused to film. The troubled actress later revealed to producers that she had a miscarriage during that time. “No one knows this. … I had a miscarriage for those two weeks that I took off,” she admitted.

On Tuesday, TMZ reporters stopped Rivers on the street, who was with her daughter, Melissa. When asked about Lohan’s miscarriage, Joan replied, “I hope she kept it. Excuse me, what do u think I am? I was born with a coat hanger in my ear.”

Following her comment, she was asked if Lohan could have been a great mother, to which Joan said, “Oh I think Lindsay could’ve been really a great mother,” while laughing. “She would have been diapering the wrong end.”

This is certainly not the first time Rivers, who is known for her outlandish jokes, has stirred up controversy with her comments. In January, she attacked Kim Kardashian’s daughter, North West, calling her “ugly.” “That baby is ugly. ... I've never seen a six-month-old so desperately in need of a waxing,” Rivers said, according to RadarOnline.

In December, after posting a photo of North, Kardashian fans were quick to comment on the baby's thick eyebrows, which some people said Kim waxed to give her daughter a perfect arch. Kardashian later denied the allegations via Twitter.
