John Cena recently sold his new Ford GT, and Ford was not happy about it.

Ford is taking legal action against Cena by suing the "American Grit" star for violating their contract after he sold his new $500,000 2017 Ford GT. According to the lawsuit filed in the U.S. District Court in Michigan, Cena was "selected from thousands of applicants for the opportunity to purchase the Ford GT," TMZ reported.

The "Total Bellas" star signed a deal where he agreed to hold onto the car for at least two years before he can unload it. The company, however, claimed that as soon as the professional wrestler received the vehicle, he immediately sold it for a big profit.

"Mr. Cena has unfairly made a large profit from the unauthorized resale flip of the vehicle, and Ford has suffered additional damages and losses, including, but not limited to, loss of brand value, ambassador activity, and customer goodwill due to the improper sale," the lawsuit from Ford read.

The lawsuit also stated that Cena sold the car along with other properties to pay his bills. However, he might not enjoy the money he made as Ford is demanding that he hand over the profits from the sale. They also asked that the celebrity pay them for damages.

Cena had a net worth of $55 million in 2016, according to the Richest. That year he was named Forbes' highest paid wrestlers for making an estimate of $9.5 million.

Cena is making it big in Hollywood with his role in the upcoming animated film "Ferdinand" and a supporting role in "Daddy's Home 2," which has currently grossed over $74 million against a $29.7 million budget.

But while Cena may be having trouble with his finances, the same can't be said about his love life. Cena is engaged to Nikki Bella, and the couple is already prepping for their upcoming wedding. In November, Cena revealed that they have "already covered a lot of ground."

In one episode of "Total Bellas," Bella revealed that she has already set a date and picked a wedding dress. "I'm kind of bad [at planning], but I have a date and I found a dress. Everything in between I don't have, but I'm working on the save the dates right now," she said.

Bella added that she is hoping that their series will be renewed for another season, so her big day will be aired on TV. "We're hoping for Season 3 of 'Total Bellas,'" the bride-to-be said.

Cena popped the big question to Bella in front of thousands of fans at WrestleMania after they defeated their epic foes, The Miz and Maryse in April. "I have been waiting so long to ask you this. Stephanie Nicole Garcia-Colace, will you marry me?" Cena asked Bella. She was speechless for a few seconds, before she nodded and gave Cena a kiss.
