Johnny Depp’s teenage daughter, Lily-Rose Melody Depp, has landed her first major campaign for the French fashion house Chanel. She is fronting the brand’s eyewear campaign and was reportedly hand-picked by fashion heavyweight Karl Lagerfeld. The 16-year-old budding model looks stunning in new shots from the Chanel fall 2015 eyewear ads, according to Mirror UK .

Lily-Rose features in the 1960s-inspired shoot wearing red-tinted round shades and a classic crochet dress. She showcases two designs from the brand’s Pearl eyewear collection, which is scheduled to be out in September. The blonde beauty is pictured pouting at the camera whilst wearing dark mauve lipstick, and her short hair is styled into a messy bob.

In the short video clip released alongside the print ads, Lily-Rose can be seen striking pose after pose, staring straight at the camera. Later she is seen pulling her sunglasses down on her nose. For her make-up, Lily-Rose sports dark smoky eyes. Apart from the pearl-encrusted sunglasses, the budding fashion star also models a white Chanel blouse, which features beautiful metallic lace detailing on the collar and sleeves.

In the shots, she is playing a “baby doll in a world imbued with sweetness and femininity,” according to the campaign description.

Lily-Rose is following the footsteps of her mother, Vanessa Paradis, who has been a Chanel ambassador since 1990 and starred in a campaign for the Girl handbag this spring. Shot by Lagerfeld, the teen looks effortlessly cool in the pictures. “Lily-Rose is stunning, she’s a young girl from a new generation with all the qualities of a star,” said the German fashion designer.

She has thousands of followers on Instagram. Lily-Rose kicked off her modeling career in an issue of Australian fashion magazine Oyster, earlier this year at the age of 15. She is said to be Lagerfeld's new muse. Earlier this month, mother and daughter walked in the brand’s casino-themed couture runway show at the Grand Palais in Paris, alongside the likes of Kendall Jenner and Kristen Stewart. The duo stole the show as they strutted their stuff in elegant evening ensembles from the fashion house’s haute couture collection.
