Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have purchased a French chateau for almost $74 million, according to a report from celebrity blogger Perez Hilton on Monday.

The chateau is set on 1,000 acres of property in Provence, France and it is believed is the same the couple and their six children have leased for the past year, according to the report.

The couple plans to renovate the chateau's 35 bedrooms with jacuzzis, spa, a new gym, a bigger wine cellar, a helicopter landing pad and a motorbike track, Perez Hilton reports. The chateau has a lake, a pool and a moat.

U2's Bono and actor Johnny Depp live also in the South of France.
