Another Duggar daughter is one step closer to walking down the aisle. TLC announced Tuesday night during the Season 2 finale of “Counting On” that Joy-Anna Duggar is officially courting.

Joy confirmed in a video for TLC.com that she is in a courtship with Austin, her friend of almost 15 years. “We’ve known each other for a long time,” Joy said in the clip just moments after Austin made their relationship official.

“I was so surprised,” Joy said of the big moment. “I was not expecting it. So happy.”

Joy, 19, is the ninth oldest in the Duggar brood and Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s fourth daughter to enter into a courtship, which the family explains as “dating with a purpose.” Viewers watched as their sixth oldest, Jinger Duggar, married Jeremy Vuolo on Tuesday’s finale just three months after making their relationship public.

TLC revealed early Tuesday that another Duggar was courting, but did not divulge who it was. A preview for the announcement teased it might be Joy, Jana, John-David, Joseph or Josiah Duggar.
