Chris Pratt recently confirmed that he will be seen in more “Guardians of the Galaxy” films. When asked about his future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Pratt revealed to GQ that he will be seen in the upcoming installment of the popular franchise.

“I’m tied to doing three more, or five more, ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ or whatever it is, you know, two more ‘Guardians’ plus another couple,” he said. “Guardians of the Galaxy” was the most successful superhero film of 2014. It made $774.2 million worldwide and garnered much praise for its plotline, visual effects and humor. James Gunn directed the film, which also starred Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Lee Pace, Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan, Djimon Hounsou, John C. Reilly, Glenn Close, and Benicio del Toro.

The sequel is scheduled to be released May 5, 2017, and not much is known about the plot line. However, Pratt revealed that he recently met with Gunn to discuss “Guardians of the Galaxy 2." “I got teary-eyed” Pratt said about his meeting with Gunn. “He's so ... smart and peculiar." He added that Gunn did not share many plot details with him.

Moreover, Pratt addressed the rumors of him being the next Indiana Jones. “I came home, and then there was paparazzi asking me about it and people asking me to sign Indiana Jones pictures and Indiana Jones hats,” he said of the rumors. According to the actor, Disney has the rights to make the next Indiana Jones film, but he knows nothing beyond that -- and apparently has quite a lot of film projects on his schedule.

Pratt will be next seen in “Jurassic World.” The film is set to arrive June 12, 2015. It will show him in the role of Owen Grady. The film will feature a full-functioning “Jurassic Park.” However, in order to increase the visitors a hybrid dinosaur will be created who will go wild and create havoc in Isla Nublar.
